    We want all out students to feel welcome which is why you can trust us to provide a safe, caring and friendly environment for your child. As well as delivering top-class courses designed to help students to progress to higher education or rewarding careers, we also help our learners develop essential life skills such as time management, self-discipline and responsibly.

    Your child can expect prompt marking, written reports and one-to-one support - plus regular reports on progress.

  • We want them to be responsible

    We’ve designed the college timetable so that our students have enough learning hours to get the best from their course so they can succeed in their studies. Therefore, it’s important that they attend all their classes and arrive on time so they don’t risk their chance of becoming successful or losing financial support.


    There is also no eating or drinking allowed in classroom, except for bottled water, and we ask that students turn off their phones to allow for the best learning experience. There is a no smoking policy throughout the College.

  • We'll help them to progress

    Our college courses are design to help students progress to their dream job or on to university. Rest assured, our personal tutors, teachers and Student Services staff will be available to discuss their options with them at any time of the year but in particular as part of our 'My Next Steps Campaign' which is designed to focus our learners on their progression options. The campaign starts with our March Parent/Carer Evenings and includes online resources and the My Next Steps and Apprentice Jobs Fair in the last term.


  • We’ll provide them with outstanding support

    We give our learner’s access to a Learning Development Mentor (LDM) to help them achieve their full potential and offer any extra support they might need. Whether it’s settling into college life, improving their study techniques or any concerns they might have.

    We understand how important it is to stay in touch which is why we’ll keep you updated on your son or daughters’ college progress through parents’ evening. Please note that for students over the age of 18, we cannot discuss their situation without their consent.
