Information for Exam Results

GCSE Results will be published on Thursday 12th August 2021. Due to the ongoing pandemic and the volume of learners receiving results, we will not be inviting learners in to collect on this day. Instead, results will be published on Moodle from 8am and learners will be able to login to view these. Hard copies of results will be posted to learners home addresses following their release.

Teacher Assessed Grades for Level 3 vocational qualification will be published on Tuesday 10th August 2021 in line with A-level results day. Where possible, these results will be available on Moodle from 8.30am, and certificates/results will be dispatched to home addresses in due course. Qualifications in scope include BTEC, CACHE, and UAL. Please note that BTEC qualifications awarded in Summer 2021 will not include unit level results.

In the event that learners have difficulties logging in, they should contact help@boltoncc.ac.uk with the word Password in the subject line and they will be sent a password reset link.

All GCSE’s and some vocational qualifications have been awarded Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGs) based on a range of evidence produced by the learners, including mock exams and assessments completed throughout the course of their study. Grades have been subject to External Quality Assurance activity undertaken by the Awarding Organisations to ensure grades awarded were fair, consistent, and in line with the evidence produced. In the event that a learner disagrees with the TAG they have been awarded, then they must submit clear rationale as to why they disagree with the grade awarded and any evidence to support the appeal, together with their name, ID number, qualification the appeal relates to, and contact details. Appeals against GCSE grades awarded in Summer 2021 must be sent to GCSEAppeals@boltoncc.ac.uk . Appeals for all other vocational grades must be sent to Appeals@boltoncc.ac.uk . For Teacher Assessed Grades (TAG) appeals, please click here for more guidance. Note: Disagreements with the evidence used to determine grades can be submitted prior to results being issued in order for these to be reviewed ahead of results day.
