Nail That Interview

This snappy session course will give you all the tips you need to help you get through an interview. Interviews are sometimes your one and only chance at making a good first impression and to sell yourself, so this course is a must for anyone who feels that interviews are a barrier to gaining employment.
If you lack confidence, or haven’t been to an interview for a while, this course will be ideal for you. You will also be given a mock interview carried out by experienced staff who have interviewed before.
LEARNERS CAN ENROL ANYTIME THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THIS IS A TWO WEEK COURSE - Nail that Application (1st week) - Nail That Interview (2nd week)

You will:

1. Recognise the importance of personal presentation
2. Provide appropriate answers for a competency-based question
3. Identify your skills and qualities
4. Use the STAR technique
5. Evaluate interview strengths and areas for development

To join the course you MUST be 19 or over. You also need to come to college with a good attitude and be prepared to work hard.

Bolton College recognises the achievements of its learners by presenting them with a certificate at the end of the course, rewarding their efforts and celebrating the skills that they have acquired. As this is a non-accredited course (not a qualification) you will work towards a college certificate of achievement by passing all your agreed learning outcomes.

Your tutor will give you advice and guidance on other courses within the college and can signpost you for more advice and training.

Assessment

All learners will complete an individual learning plan which will be discussed with their tutor throughout the course.

Financial

Adult Learners

Adult learners (19+) must provide evidence of their existing qualification at enrolment. Learners may not be able to enrol if this information is not provided when requested. If you have lost any certificates please contact your school in the first instance. If they are unable to provide a copy, you can contact one of the following exam boards (your school will be able to tell you which one applies to the exams you took):
