    This course is designed for learners that have an interest in, Skin care and Make Up, or people already working within the beauty industry who wish to further their skills or complete CPD qualifications.
  • What you'll learn

    You will learn basic theory of Make-up and skin problems as well as cover health and safety of make-up application
    • Application of makeup techniques to suit a range of skin types
    • Different party products and their application including glitter and lashes
  • Entry requirements

    Learners must demonstrate a commitment to learn and have the appropriate life skill/s. You must have good communication skills.

    Observation of practical treatments taught.
    Completion of Individual learning Plans
    Possible competition at the end of the programme.
  • Is there anything else I need to know?

    You will need to be over 19 years of age to attend this course. The Beauty industry has an accepted dress code and all students will be expected to comply with these standards of dress when working in the Beauty Salon. No jewellery or acrylic nails are allowed.
    You will be required to carry out treatments on your peers.
    You will be expected to have a minimum of 9o% attendance and all absences must be explained to your tutor.

There are also many short courses that would be very exciting to attend including Holistic Therapy, Nail Art, Waxing, Aromatherapy, Indian Head, Body Massage, Reflexology, Nail Extensions, Hopi Ear Candles, Reiki and many more

    Assessment


    All learners will complete an individual learning plan which will be discussed with their tutor throughout the course.

    Financial


    You may not have to pay tuition fees at all, if you fall into one of the groups eligible for fee exemptions. If you feel you may be eligible or would like someone to explain course fees in more detail, pleasecontact us via our Live Chat service available on any page of our website.

    Adult Learners


    Adult learners (19+) must provide evidence of their existing qualification at enrolment. Learners may not be able to enrol if this information is not provided when requested. If you have lost any certificates please contact your school in the first instance. If they are unable to provide a copy, you can contact one of the following exam boards (your school will be able to tell you which one applies to the exams you took):
