Information, advice and guidance is provided all year round to help you make informed choices about your career and prepare yourself for the world of work or higher education.

We offer impartial advice and have been acknowledged by Ofsted, they said:

We have a dedicated and experienced careers Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Team based in Student Services at the college.

 

Impartial information, advice and guidance is available to all potential students and all students who have enrolled on our full and part time courses.

 

The college advisers can offer help with finding the right course and career

 

For existing students this Team can offer help and support with:

 

  • Progression Plans
  • Improving your job search skills to find full or part time employment
  • CV writing, completion of application forms and covering letters
  • Interview skills
  • Choosing the right university course and applying to university

Gatsby Benchmark Success

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) conducts a yearly evaluation of Bolton College to gauge its adherence to the Gatsby benchmarks.
