Helplines

All Bolton College learners have a right to feel safe wherever they learn, whether that's in the classroom or online.

If you have any personal safety or other worries - for example feeling bullied, being made to feel uncomfortable by someone, or experiencing an inappropriate situation when you are attending college - then please talk to us. You can:

  • Call 01204 482 180 or 01204 482 758 and speak to a member of our Safeguarding Team.
  • Talk to your tutor, as they too want you to feel safe both in and out of College.
  • Talk to your Learning Development Mentors for support

Bolton College has strong links with other specialist organisations that are able to help with a range of issues outside of your studies. Students can approach the organisations themselves or can ask their LDM’s or Student Mentors ( they are not based in Student Services!) to help them make contact.
