Here at Bolton College, we can offer bespoke packages of training for people who are facing redundancy.
If you are facing redundancy and need support to find your next job, our team can assist. We have tutors who are highly skilled and understanding, having worked with many local employers and also with employees facing redundancy. Because we are local, we can suggest other support services if needed.
We can undertake a 'needs' assessment of employees to see what support they need, and this enables us to create a bespoke package.
Our short Nail That Application course can help with CV writing or updating, completing application forms and understanding person specifications.
Our Nail That Interview course covers face-to-face interviews as well as the increasingly popular virtual interviews, the STAR technique (competency based interview techniques used by many employers) and we can even provide mock interviews to give feedback on what you are great at and how you can further develop your techniques and build your confidence.
We offer an 'after programme' package of support where clients can contact us for help with interview techniques and our job coach sends out a mailing list of available local jobs regularly also.
Fancy a complete change of career? Bolton College can offer Careers Information and Guidance to learners and signpost them to courses being run in the local area.
Bolton College has an outstanding reputation of delivering one-week Sector Based Work Academy employability courses to unemployed people in collaboration with Bolton Council. Many go on to work with a number of high-profile local employers. We have worked with many local recruiters such as Keoghs, Amazon, Aldi, Whistl, and Bolton NHS.
