1 minute silence held today, in honour of those who lost their lives in the Manchester Arena bombing

25 May 2017

1 minute silence held today, in honour of those who lost their lives in the Manchester Arena bombing

As the clock struck 11am, staff and students gathered in the College’s Atrium to pay their respects to the victims of the Manchester Arena attack, which happened on Monday.

Similar events were held across the country after a national minute’s silence was called by the government yesterday.

The College is also holding a collection for families of those affected by the tragedy, and staff and learners have been signing a ‘Pledge Your Support’ board.

Any learners affected by the attack are encouraged to make contact with Student Services, who can offer help and support.
