Throughout the academic year, we run courses starting from beginners to Level 2.
Our inspirational tutors will teach you about visual composition whilst improving your camera skills. You'll also learn about different photographers and their styles, as well as developing your analytical skills.
Our tutors’ industry experience enables them to direct you in presenting your work appropriately and developing your own creativity and you may even get the chance to create your own portfolio of work and exhibit at our annual Arts Showcase.
I've always loved Photography, and studying a Level 2 course has helped me start up my own photography business.
Shelly James, Photography Level 2
I studied Art & Design Level 3 previously and then decided to specialise in photography. I love taking portraits and photos of animals, and I'm also helping to promote a disability club by taking photos of their events in my spare time. I want to progress to Level 3 and then work as a self-employed photographer; I love the idea of having my own studio and I've already created a bit of a logo for myself! I'm determined to achieve this, regardless of my disability.
