How Will I Be Assessed?
There is no formal assessment on this course. You will agree an individual learning plan (ILP) with your tutor identifying what you want and need to gain from the course. You will receive supported feedback and guidance from your tutor and track your progress in you Individual Learning Plan.
Entry Requirements
No previous experience is necessary, basic literacy skills are required, a keen interest in baking and a willingness to learn new skills.

Learners successfully completing this short course to a good standard can enrol on to the Introduction to Cake Decoration course, other Catering & Hospitality courses or the Food Safety Award Level 2 course if you meet the entry requirements.

- Learners will be given a list at the start of the course.
- As it is intended that the items produced on the course are for eating, learners are expected to wear an apron, have appropriate flat, closed footwear and have long hair tied back.
