What You'll Learn
Week 1 – Wellbeing & Personal Responsibility
Understanding of physical, mental and social wellbeing.
The impact of managing personal health on reliability and daily performance.
Basic time‑management skills through planning wellbeing activities.
How to set SMART goals for both fitness and employment.
Week 2 – Safe Exercise & Risk Awareness
Essential anatomy, including major muscle groups.
Safe exercise practices such as warm‑ups and cool‑downs.
How to identify hazards and propose solutions in fitness environments.
Understanding of “duty of care” in relation to personal and workplace safety.
Week 3 – Nutrition & Sustained Energy
Knowledge of main food groups and how to build a healthy, budget‑friendly meal.
Effects of hydration and diet on mood, concentration and productivity.
How to analyse daily routines to improve energy levels through better nutrition.
Week 4 – Communication & Teamwork
Active listening and following multi‑step instructions.
Giving clear, confident verbal instructions.
Working constructively in teams and reflecting on personal contribution.
Week 5 – Employability & Next Steps
Identifying and articulating transferable skills gained throughout the course.
Researching entry‑level roles or further training in sport, fitness and wellbeing.
Creating a personalised action plan for employment or continued learning.
