You will learn the basic skills of floristry including:

- Wired buttonholes
- Designs in the mediums floral foam, moss and compost
- Gift wrapping flowers & plants

How Will I Be Assessed?
1. Your portfolio of work - each week you will take pictures of your creations.
2. A weekly diary of practical designs and evaluation.
3. A project; design a buttonhole (one for a woman & one for a man).

Learners who gain the Level 1 Certificate in Floristry may wish to progress to our Level 2 course.

The average weekly cost of flowers and foliage is approximately £5 (this is not included in the course price)
