What You'll Learn
The course also covers the different types of dementia, managing challenging behaviours, promoting independence, and connecting individuals with support services. Overall, the course is designed to help individuals and professionals provide compassionate care and effectively support for those with Dementia.
How Will I Be Assessed?
You will agree an individual learning plan (ILP) with your tutor identifying what you want and need to gain from the course. You will build up a folder of work which shows the range of skills and knowledge you have developed. You will receive supportive feedback throughout the course and track your progress through your Individual Learning Plan.
There will be no exams and you will be assessed through coursework.
