The UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology has been designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree-level study and employment in the media sector.
It provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in media to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to more specialised study.
This course is the perfect starting point for students who aspire to have a career in the service industries. Students studying on our Creative media course at Bolton College will explore a wide range of media, including graphic design, motion graphics, T.V. and film production, as well as audio and games design elements. Learners will develop their technical skills in practical production enabling interaction and engagement with various audiences. In the various projects learners will also develop independent work as well as team work to build a professional portfolio that will showcase a creative journey.
Engaging with employers is also an integral part of this programme. The department seek to ensure that you have opportunities to gain real-world experience of your chosen sector.

You will be assessed by practical activities and investigations, including a final project at the end of the course.

- A minimum of 4 GCSEs, graded 9-4, including English or Maths
