What You'll Learn
You will learn about the following topics:
• Recognise the mental health benefits of painting.
• Explore and apply at least five abstract painting techniques.
• Experiment with and mix at least four different textures into your paint.
• Design and create your own abstract painting on canvas.

How Will I Be Assessed?
You will agree an individual learning plan (ILP) with your tutor identifying what you want and need to gain from the course. You will build up a folder of work which shows the range of skills and knowledge you have developed. You will receive supportive feedback throughout the course and track your progress through your Individual Learning Plan.
Entry Requirements
To join the course, you MUST be 19 or over with an interest in improving your wellbeing. Regular attendance and a basic level of English skills are also required of all learners.
