What Do Student Services Do?

Our Student Services Team are here to offer support, advice and guidance for current and prospective Bolton College students. We have a staff of highly trained, friendly and supportive advisers, each with their own area of expertise. The range of help we can give is comprehensive and includes giving students help with:

  • applying for a course
  • course information advice and guidance
  • preparing and applying for work or higher education
  • obtaining financial help to support learning
  • childcare cover for student parents
  • dealing with personal issues
  • cross college enrichment activities
  • accessing the counselling service for students
  • talking things over with a college chaplain
  • talking about health issues with the college nurse
  • keeping safe
  • addressing unfair treatment of students
  • ensuring students opinions about college are listened to and acted on
  • joining the Student Volunteers Group

Drop in between 12-1pm or call 01204 482 182 to make an appointment to talk to one of our advisers.
