School Leavers

14 - 16 Learning

We’ve found that many young people need a different learning experience to that traditionally offered at school, especially if they’ve missed lots of lessons, been on the verge of exclusion, or are considered unlikely to achieve GCSE qualifications.

Thankfully, Bolton College is able to help such youngsters to benefit from studying in an environment that is more suited to their learning styles. We understand that each young student has different needs and abilities, so we’ve put together a package of courses that recognise – and make the most of them.

Young people still at school can also benefit from the same resources. Scheduled throughout the year, Taster Days allowing Year 10 pupils to sample vocational courses and discover what it takes to succeed in a given profession.
