Our first class courses enable learners to communicate effectively with Deaf people, enhancing our students’ employability skills in a sector that offers fulfilling opportunities.

We offer Level 1 and Level 2 Awards in Signing and Receiving in Sign Language courses.

The Level 1 course is for people with a commitment to learn a new language and is designed to teach learners how to communicate with Deaf people in sign language on a range of topics.

The Level 2 course aims to teach functional communication in sign language, through tasks which resemble the real life experiences of people who meet and mix with Deaf people in their family, social or working lives.

Candidates who successfully complete all three units of the award will receive a Level 1 or Level 2 certificate in Sign Language from the ABC examination board, enhancing employability.
