An Apprenticeship in Team Leading / Management allows you to gain recognised qualifications and develop employment skills while you earn.

The Intermediate Team Leading Apprenticeship focuses on developing the skills you need for your work role of:

  • Allocating and monitoring work
  • Giving feedback
  • Resolving problems
  • Supporting team members

The Advanced Management Apprenticeship focuses on developing your skills in areas such as:

Although much of your qualification will be gained in the workplace, you will attend evening sessions in college which lead to a recognised Institute of Line Management (ILM) qualification.

The college programme also includes updating your Maths, ICT and English skills, as well as developing Personal Learning and Thinking Skills.

We offer apprenticeships for both team leaders and first line managers so you can start at the level that suits you and your job role.

Examples of jobs held by Apprentices include:

You’ll study at our Deane Road Campus in Bolton town centre, which is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Manchester and Lancashire – so wherever your work is based you can still take advantage of studying a management course with state-of-the-art facilities at Bolton College.
