Hairdressing or Barbering
Our Apprenticeship courses in Hairdressing or Barbering allow you to earn while you learn, gain recognised qualifications, and develop skills relevant to your employment.
An Apprenticeship is a high quality learning programme aimed at people from the age of 16. You will be employed in a salon and attend college, usually for one day a week.
During this time you will be trained and assessed in theory and practical skills. However, the majority of your training will take place ‘on the job’ and you will be paid a proper wage. You will be assigned a specialist assessor to support your progress and assess your skills in your place of work.
A Hairdressing or Barbering Apprenticeship is designed around your salon tasks and duties. It focuses on helping you to develop the skills necessary to become a professional modern hair stylist or barber with a recognised City and Guilds qualification.
Our top quality training will give you valuable National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs). During your time with us, you will cover every aspect of hairdressing or barbering, including modern and traditional skills.
We offer both Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships, so you can choose the level of training which is appropriate to your skills and experience.
