Customer Services
Apprenticeship training in Customer Service is suitable for people working in a wide range of roles and sectors. While studying a Customer Service Apprenticeship, you’ll learn skills relevant to your daily duties by receiving training on the job and during lessons at college. You’ll study under a day release arrangement, but most of your time will be spent at work and you’ll still be paid as you learn.
Depending on the level of responsibility you have in your job, you’ll enrol on either a Level 2 or Level 3 Customer Service course. Your tasks will be based around your role.
At Level 2 you might find yourself:
- Assisting customers
- Providing advice
- Answering questions
Typical tasks at Level 3 might include:
- Team leading
- Identifying and implementing service improvements
- Responding to higher level needs and complaints
You’ll also develop your communication skills and knowledge of your organisation’s products and services.
Most of the college programme for the NVQ will be completed in your workplace, with subject specialist assessors / trainers, and you will attend college to update your Maths and English skills. Your assessor will guide and support you throughout your Customer Service training.
Our new Deane Road Campus has the advantages of modern, spacious classrooms, breakaway areas for private study and laptops which can be loaned to all learners.
Deane Road, with its state of the art facilities, is located in Bolton town centre and is easily accessible from a wide geographical area within Manchester and Lancashire.
