Business Administration
Studying an Apprenticeship course in Business Administration at Bolton College allows you to gain recognised qualifications and develop skills relevant to employment while you earn. You'll come to college, usually for one day a week, but the majority of your training will take place on the job and you'll be paid a minimum wage.
Most of your qualification will be gained in the workplace, although you will attend sessions in college which cover essential areas of your training, including:
- Managing information
- Producing documents
- Providing administrative services
- Supporting business events
The programme also includes updating your Maths, IT and English skills as well as developing personal learning and thinking skills.
While doing a Business Administration Apprenticeship with us, you have the choice of either Level 2 or Level 3.
If you are working in an office environment where you have a role similar to that of a junior secretary, office junior or receptionist, you study for level 2.
Level 3 requires you to be working at the level of a team leader, supervisor, secretary or personal assistant.
Classes take place at our new Deane Road campus which has the advantages of modern, spacious classrooms, breakaway areas for private study or brainstorming and laptops that can be loaned to learners.
Deane Road, with state-of-the-art facilities in Bolton town centre, is easily accessible from a wide geographical area within Manchester and Lancashire.
