Information Advice & Guidance

If you want to talk about your plans for the future or you don’t feel suited to the course you have chosen, why not talk it over with someone at the start of your course?

Based in the Guidance Centre (Manchester Road), staff specialise in Careers Information, Advice and Guidance. These staff also regularly visit other centres to help students.

They can help you with the following:

  • Using the wide range of information available to students on choosing and preparing for work, training and education courses
  • Finding the right career for you
  • Looking for a job for after you complete your course
  • Choosing and applying to higher education (university)

If you wish to talk to someone about any of the above, you can contact the Careers Advisor on 01204 90746.

A team of Personal Advisers, from Connexions Bolton is also available to offer advice and support young people up to the age of 19.

There is a Job Vacancy Board based in the Guidance Centre at Manchester Road.

Contact Student Services in the Guidance Centre at Manchester Road Centre on 01204 907493 to get ahead with your plans for the future!
