Higher Education - Aim Higher
Did you know that better qualified people earn around 35% more than the average wage? It is recognised that more people with degrees and more skilled workers with higher professional qualifications will be needed in the years ahead. That must be reason enough to consider a Higher Education (HE) qualification – to give you a head start in your chosen career. What’s more, HE can also provide you with life changing experiences!
We offer a range of Level 3 BTEC qualifications (equivalent to 3 A-Levels) plus excellent support for students who are aiming to progress into HE.
We offer the following support:
-
An annual HE convention involving regional universities and higher education providers.
-
Organised visits to universities and HE providers.
-
Master classes with specialists from industry.
-
Access to the UCAS website (University and College Admissions Service).
-
One-to-one assistance in completing UCAS application forms.
-
Careers advice and guidance from qualified and experienced staff.
-
HE workshops on finance and university life.
-
Help with interview techniques and presentation skills.
-
A comprehensive range of university prospectuses and course guides.
