Learning Ambassadors

Learning Ambassadors

Community Learning Ambassadors is a programme that enables people to become more actively involved in their communities and trains them to help people to take up local learning opportunities.

When you become a Learning Ambassador, you will not only receive training in research work and other project tasks, but you will also learn how to help others access learning to achieve their potential. The project also provides opportunities to get involved in voluntary work as well as some paid work.

The course can put you on the path to exciting career developments. Last year, five Community Learning Ambassadors were sponsored for an introductory teaching qualification – Preparation for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).
