Adult Learners Week 2010
Bolton College kick starts Adult Learners’ Week
Bolton College is taking to the streets of Bolton this weekend (Saturday 15, 2010) to kick start Adult Learners’ Week.
Over a dozen learning providers from across the borough will attend the ‘Adult Learners’ Week Awareness Event’ to highlight the opportunities for adult learners.
The free event, held on the Town Hall Square from 10am – 3pm, will offer practical workshops, with trained learning advisors and representatives from the College on hand throughout the day.
Visitors can also enjoy life drawing and portrait workshops at Bolton Art Gallery and multimedia sessions at Bolton Central Library. And for parents with young children, Bolton Central Children’s Library will be celebrating myths and legends with stories and craft activities. Open University tutors will also be on hand to discuss options for adults considering their degrees.
The town centre event is part of a week of activities taking place at Bolton College and at other learning providers throughout Bolton.
